10 Week Course: Online / Photoshoot meet ups

Thursday: 10am – 1pm

Start date: 30 September 2021

Price: £145

Half Term: W/C - 26.10.21

The aim of this course is to develop each participant’s photographic personal creative vision. We all see the world in our own unique way. Therefore, I will help you to discover how to translate your personal vision photographically. For that, a specific photographic project will be set with the goal of giving you a deeper understanding of the photographic practice, while unleashing your personal creativity.

This will be achieved through interactive online lectures, critique sessions of your pictures, and discussions. There will be a substantial practical element with lively photo shoots in various locations in the city. These shoots will allow for much-needed time for some socialising, along with developing your photographic skills and knowledge. (Covid 19 permitted). We will look at certain genres of photography by exploring well-known photographers’ work, contemporary and historical. These works will be related to the project and theme set. On completion of the course you will gain the necessary skills to create a cohesive body of work, or substantial work in progress, to be made into a portfolio.

There will spend time developing your ideas, critiquing your work, and providing feedback, leading to the editing and sequencings of your pictures. All of these elements will eventually guide you to develop your own project and personal vision.

On completion of the course you will gain the necessary skills to create a cohesive body of work, or substantial work in progress, to be made into a portfolio.

Expert knowledge and tips will be given throughout the course along with some image postproduction using Adobe Photoshop.
